ESS was named as winner of the The smarter E AWARD 2024 in the Category "Energy Storage" for the application Energy Center ™

Energy Center ™ by ESS

The utility-scale Energy Center storage system from ESS Tech, Inc. offers a storage capacity of 1,160 kWh. It is designed for use over a period of 25 years and comes with a 10-year guarantee that can be extended to 25 years. The 10-year guarantee is covered by Munich RE. The storage system features an eight-hour discharge rate and its iron flow technology makes it both safe and environmentally friendly. For discharge rates of over six hours, it promises to be the most cost-effective storage system on the market in terms of kWh stored.
