Pfannenberg Europe was named as winner of the The smarter E AWARD 2024 in the Category "Energy Storage" for the application Compact Chiller VLV 12.
The Compact Chiller VLV12 is a vibration-resistant cooling unit for stationary battery systems, featuring a cooling capacity of up to 12 kW at ambient temperatures of between -25 and 45°C. The chiller is designed as an air-water system and is supplied with a DC voltage of 570-800 V directly from the battery system. It also features a built-in heating function that can bring the batteries up to their optimal operating temperature when the external temperature is low. Additionally, it is possible to integrate the chiller into the overall system using Modbus RTU / Modbus TCP.
